It is only through the donations that the Neighbors Food Pantry can reach out to families in need of food in our community.
Because of our partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank, we are able to participate in the Emergency Food Program where we are able to buy large quantities of food at a greatly reduced price – making every dollar you give go much further than the traditional grocery stores. In fact, only spending $.14 for every pound of food purchased! This partnership also offers free commodities of fresh and frozen foods.
Please consider donating today to ensure we can fulfill these purchases each week – feeding all those who come to us in need. Additionally, we always accept donated supplies! Whether that be non-perishables (boxed dinners, canned soup, canned fruits/vegetables, pasta & more) or perishables (we have refrigeration and freezers available), all donations are welcome in order to meet the need in our community.
